Role: Creative Direction - Marketing and Business Strategy Lead

Willo, a new cannabis edibles brand, was introduced into the market at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. I conceptualized and executed the entire brand from scratch: logo/colour palette/typography, e-commerce website/SEO, emails, social media, and packaging.

Competitor brands were targeted towards males with abundant cannabis experience, with focus on result over quality and taste. Willo wanted to create a friendly, approachable brand for new consumers with a focus on premium quality and taste.

To get the word out, we leveraged SMS, email, social media, and contests to build brand awareness. The response was overwhelmingly positive and the brand has grown to over $50,000 in monthly sales.
